The Ocean Community Young Professionals Network (OCYPN) is an initiative of the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce created to connect, inspire, and educate young professionals throughout the region.

What Is OCYPN?

OCYPN is a group of young professionals ages 21 to 45 who live or work in Southern Rhode Island and Eastern Connecticut. Membership is FREE and is not restricted to Chamber members. OCYPN offers networking, community involvement, social, and professional development opportunities designed to energize local young professionals. Members have the opportunity to build relationships, expand their professional networks, and become more engaged in the region they call home.

OCYPN is made up of a dynamic and diverse group of peers with a passion for making a difference, a willingness to learn, a desire to build meaningful relationships, and the energy to get involved in the community.

As part of the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce, OCYPN is proud to foster a welcoming and collaborative community where young professionals can connect, grow, and make a lasting impact.

Young Professionals Night Out

​OCYPN’s signature social networking series brings young professionals together for fun, casual experiences at unique locations throughout the region. Each event offers an opportunity to meet new people, build meaningful connections, explore local businesses, and grow your network in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Community Involvement

​Giving back is an important part of OCYPN. Volunteer and community involvement opportunities are available for members throughout the year.

Professional Development

OCYPN provides professional development opportunities designed to help young professionals grow their skills, expand their knowledge, and advance their careers. Through workshops, speakers, and other educational experiences, members can gain valuable tools while connecting with fellow professionals.

How Can You Get Involved?

Become a member, attend events, volunteer, or join the Advisory Board. Remember, membership is FREE, and your level of involvement can be as much or as little as you prefer.
