About Us

The Granite Theatre is a nonprofit community theatre located in the heart of Westerly, dedicated to producing high-quality, accessible theatrical experiences for audiences of all ages. Housed in a historic landmark building, the Granite has been a cultural cornerstone for over 25 years, bringing people together through the power of live performance.

As a working community theatre, the Granite produces a diverse season of plays and musicals, supports local artists, and provides opportunities for actors, designers, technicians, and volunteers to develop their craft. In addition to mainstage productions, the theatre offers educational programming, youth performances, workshops, and special events that foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration.
