About Us
Here at Lilly, we like to say, “it all started with a juice stand”. Lilly Pulitzer loved the way of life Palm Beach had to offer. Lilly’s husband, Peter, owned a citrus grove and Lilly decided to open a juice stand. By the end of the day, Lilly’s dresses were covered in juice stains. She had her dress maker create a classic, cotton shift dress in bright, playful prints to hide the stains. Once her dresses became the talk of the town, the rest was history and Lilly Pulitzer was born!
Lilly Pulitzer’s second store in history opened in Watch Hill many years ago, so we are thrilled to be back to keep Lilly’s legacy going! Stop in and visit our beautiful store located at 31 Bay Street! From our covered patio overlooking the harbor to our seashell floors, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into Palm Beach.
