Stonington Borough 4th of July Parade

Description

The SVIA is pleased to assume the management of the Borough's July 4th parade, a long-standing, beloved tradition.  The Parade starts at Wadawanuck Square and participants walk down Water Street to Cannon Square and then march up Main Street back to Wadawanuck Square. Historic Stonington will continue to organize the reading of the Declaration of Independence in Wadawanuck Square immediately following the parade. The reading will then be followed by the SVIA Ice Cream Social at Mathews Park with ice cream donated by Dog Watch Cafe, all within walking distance of WAD square.
