Description
Cast a wide net! The Seine Net program highlights the importance of the Little Narragansett Bay ecosystem and its connection to the Napatree Point Conservation Area. Join the Naturalists as they cast a 20-foot seine net into the water, catching marine life for up-close and personal examination. Children and families will get to use one of our mini dip nets during the program to explore the shoreline and catch their own marine life to share with the group!
Open to all ages, parents must accompany children
This program is designed to last 60 minutes so participants can utilize the free parking along Bay Street.
Light rain will not cancel these events, but a downpour will. Program cancellations will be communicated via email.
