Boat Operations Management
The Thames River Heritage Park Foundation is seeking an experienced Boat Operations Manager / USCG Licensed Operator to oversee and manage vessel operations for the Park’s Hop-On Hop-Off Harbor Cruise / Water Taxi service, history-themed tours, and private charters during the 2026 boating season.?
This role?is responsible for?the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the Park’s fleet, supervising?captains?and crew, coordinating schedules, and ensuring vessels are properly?maintained?and compliant with all regulations.
About the Organization?
The Thames River Heritage Park Foundation (TRHPF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting, supporting, and sustaining the Thames River Heritage Park—a network of historic and cultural sites linked by water that capture the history and culture of life along the Thames River. The Foundation’s mission is to promote, support, and sustain the Park and its connected heritage sites, which tell the story of the people, places, and industries that?shaped?the Thames River region.?
Through boat-based tours, public programs, and partnerships, Thames River Heritage Park works to make the heritage and culture of the Thames River vivid and relevant to all. The Park connects people, communities, institutions, sites, and stories to the historic waterfront and natural landscape of the Thames River Estuary, fostering meaningful engagement with the region’s maritime and cultural history.
