A fun, funky fashion show of 40 FABULOUS FROCKS made out of trash or recycled materials! Tickets $20. Limited seating!!Proceeds to be split between The Chamber and The Granite Theatre. Come check out the amazing creations!!
Maria Allen of Bella Vita will use permanent rods. Todd Terranova, a contractor, will use metal. Stephanie Shawn of Westerly Airport will use newspaper. Lisa Konicki of The Chamber will use coffee filters. Kirsten Petrizzo of The Chamber will use decks of cards.
Jeanette Connors will use plastic utensils. Ashley Hoffman of Melissa Ashley Bridal will use garbage bags. Christina Pugliese Pimental of Christina’s will use denim and crochet afghans. Faye Parenteau of The Day will use Grace Magazines. Sue Adam of Gira! will use plastic grocery shopping bags and waffle packing paper. Jen Brinton of Grey Sail Brewing will use aluminum beer tops and beer tabs. Brigitte Hopkins of Westerly Library will use books, cds and dvds. Jeanne Abate of Westerly Credit Union purses and shoes. Madison Konicki will use Chinese take out boxes and Chinese paper umbrellas. Angela Thoman of Paddy’s Beach will use wine corks. Katie Lombard of Copolla’s will use Sand and seaweed . Tiffany Luzzi of ServPro will use bubble wrap and cardboard, Kurt Levcowichof Pleasant Acres Nursery will use flower stems and leaves, old plant trays, greenhouse plastic, Mojie Friel will use drapery samples/upholstery cords,Emily McBride will use photographs, Cheryl Fiske will use buttons and plastic bottles, DelRita Butler will use recyclyed scarves. And there is much more!! Some artists have not disclosed their medium yet.
As part of our "Trashion Fashion" Show this Earth Day we are also asking for donations of gently used, designer garments to be part of our Closet Treasures boutique. Proceeds from Closet Treasures will further benefit the Chamber and The Granite Theatre. If you'd like to donate something from your closet feel free to drop it off at the Chamber of Commerce before April 18th.Tell a Friend
