PADDLE ON THE PAWCATUCK RIVER: BRADFORD TO POTTER HILL
An easy portage around the Bradford Dam takes us downstream to Potter Hill. Along the way, we’ll pass conservation lands owned by The Nature Conservancy and the Westerly Land Trust. This is a one-way trip downriver with a return shuttle. Trips are for adults and older children and depart the Nature Center at 9 a.m. or at the put-in location at 9:30 a.m.

PADDLE ON THE PAWCATUCK RIVER: POTTER HILL TO WESTERLY
See “the other Westerly” or the one only seen from the river. Float past farm fields, wooded wetlands and the historic parts of Westerly as you may have never seen them. There are a couple of swift water rapids (Class II) around old dams. The take-out is at the boat launch in downtown Westerly for about an 8-mile trip. Trips are for adults and older children and depart the Nature Center at 9 a.m. or at the put-in location at 9:30 a.m.
