The United is a regional center for the arts and arts education showcasing world-class performing, visual and creative arts. Our vision is to unite the community as a hub for arts in the region and a home for local, national and international artists to showcase their work. We believe in blurring the lines between artist and audience by immersing the community in the appreciation and contextualization of art in its many forms, including film, music, theatre, opera, dance, visual arts, lectures and more.

We are excited to announce our first artist exhibition of 2022 in The United Gallery-- featuring the work of Westerly artist, Donna M. Frustere, "The Journey to 65."

Donna Frustere is a Master Printmaker and Art Educator. She is an established artist who exhibits Nationally and Internationally with “The Printmakers Network of Southern New England.” She is a Master Teaching Artist in CT, NAEA presenter, former president of the Canton Artist Guild, and Art Advocacy Chair for CT Art Ed.Frustere researches her past from her family and surroundings. She incorporates collected memorabilia into her work to bring you to the destination. The surfaces of the plates, the vibrancy and transparency of the inks, together with the lushness of papers are what excites her. Donna believes that traditional, cultural, and environmental influences create one’s art and give life meaning.Tell a Friend
