The Westerly-Pawcatuck Veterans Board of Control (WPVBC) is observing Memorial Day on Monday, May 27, 2013 with a parade. We invite your organization to participate with a float, vehicle(s) or marchers for one of our divisions. The parade will line up at the Pawcatuck Shopping Center on 37 South Broad Street in Pawcatuck, CT at 8:30 AM. The starting time will be at 9:30 AM sharp. The main ceremonies will conclude at the bandstand (Gazebo) in Wilcox Park in Westerly, RI.
To participate in the parade, we need your reservation so that we will be able to place your unit in the right division. To reserve a spot or if you have any questions, please notify me at (401-596-0837) or you may email me at wespawvetsboard@aol.com. You may also write to me at 11 Spring Street, Westerly, RI, 02891. We will notify you ahead of time what division you will be in. So that we may communicate in the future, I would like to ask you if I may have your current telephone number(s) and email address (es).
In the event that you are not able to supply a float or marchers, we welcome and appreciate any donation, which will be used to sponsor our traditional Memorial and Veteran’s Day parades for this year. For donations please make checks payable to Westerly-Pawcatuck Veterans Board of Control (WPVBC) & mail it to Armondo C. Azzinaro, Treasurer, 2 Arrow Drive, Westerly, RI 02891. We look forward to your favorable response.
