Join our winter thanksgiving celebration with age-old stories and activities for the whole family in the Gathering Space. Bring light to the winter by creating your own luminaries and find out “Why Rabbit Turns White” at the puppet show in the Auditorium Lobby at 11 am and 2 pm. Visit with Wayne Reels (Mashantucket Pequot), director of Cultural Resources, by the fire on the Farmstead 11:30 am–1:30 pm, to learn about gifts of winter and why Native people celebrate a winter thanksgiving.
