Bring a friend, bring your family, and get ready for a fun-filled day at the Fair! Join the Stonington Community Center (COMO) at the Stonington Borough Village Green on Saturday, August 5th from 11 am to 4 pm for our 64th Annual Village Fair. This time-honored, community tradition brings a crowd of all ages. There is something for everyone at the Fair!
Start your morning perusing the stacks of our used book sale and shopping local artisans’ wares. When you start feeling hungry, head to our concession stands, and enjoy traditional New England summer fare: lobster rolls, burgers, and hotdogs. Grab a slice of pie from our Pie Bake-Off, or go home with the whole plate! In the mood for something lighter? Stroll over to the ever popular “Soup Garden”; an area highlighting hot and cold soups from local restaurants. If you have children, be sure to check out our game station featuring games, prizes and other entertainment to delight children both young and young at heart. End your afternoon with a slice of sweetbread and a smile on your face. You just experienced the “Fair Effect”- that feeling of contentment that comes from a day well spent at the Village Fair.
All proceeds benefit the Stonington Community Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening families and community since 1945. For more information, visit www.thecomo.org or call the COMO at 860.535.2476. See you at the Fair!
Interested in sponsoring the fair? Sponsorship opportunities for this event range from $5,000 to $250 and include recognition across a broad and varied marketing mix.
