Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge is well-known for its winter population of Harlequin ducks and many other species of birds. We’ll spend the morning searching for a myriad of wintering waterfowl including eider, harlequin, grebe, goldeneye and more. We may even spot a snowy owl. We’ll wind our way back through Jamestown and Newport, RI with a stop for lunch. Meet at DPNC and ride together in the Nature Center van. This program is suited for adults and older interested children.
