Yawgoo Trail is also noted for its thick under-story of mountain laurel, especially near the steep banks of the kettle hole and spectacular views of Yawgoo Pond. Directions: From the intersection of Rtes 2 and 138 drive N on Rte. 2 , 0.4 miles to Barber's Pond state fishing area parking lot where we will meet and walk to the trail head on Barber's Pond Road as a group.
