What happens when the foundation of friendship begins to crack?

In Dinner with Friends, two couples—lifelong friends—find their lives upended when one marriage falls apart, forcing the others to question their own relationships, assumptions, and loyalties. With sharp wit and emotional depth, Donald Margulies crafts a deeply human story about love, loss, and the evolving dynamics between partners and friends.

Join us for an evening that’s as thought-provoking as it is emotionally resonant—a play that reminds us how fragile and fiercely complex our closest connections can be.

The Granite Theatre’s production is directed by Judy George, stage managed by Paula Brouillette, the lights were designed by Samantha Tetzlaf and operated by Don Ellis, Brian Cahill-Assenza is on sound with additional sound and lighting help by Bradley Caiola. This production has original compositions by Ezra George. Robert Ladd, Kevin Mackay, Russ Ekstrom, and John Yonsky built the set while Sarah Cropley, Erin Blake, Alex Celico, Susan Meeker, and Frances Sokal painted it.
