Net-Making, Weirs, and More
For thousands of years, Native people in southern New England have been reaping bountiful gifts from the ocean. Learn how different types of fish and shellfish were caught, eaten and used for various purposes, and learn how to make cordage, fishnets, and even a weir — a large fish trap. Free with Museum admission, free to Museum members.
