Local Archaeology Explored
Zachery Singer, Ph.D. anthropology student at UConn and an expert on Paleo-Indian occupations recovered on the Mashantucket Reservation, compares the sites and provides insight to Paleo-Indian occupations in this area. Dr. Timothy Ives, principal archaeologist at the RI Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission, demonstrates flint knapping and discusses pre-historic people and their tool-making resources..
