Step back in time to Christmas Eve, 1876. The village of Greenmanville is bustling with the excitement of Christmas. Lurking in the shadows, however, is old Mr. Luce, the local miser who controls the lives and interests of many of the village's hardworking residents. Mr. Luce is determined to thwart the citizens' efforts at celebration. Take heart however - the gentle and charming Cady family, led by George and his young daughter Ginny, are out to prove that no one, no matter how humble, is insignificant, that love and kindness matter more than gold, and that, if you believe hard enough, miracles really do happen.
