"War memorials have a story to tell," says Patti Cassidy, writer and filmmaker with a passion for public sculptures. "When battles end and the din of guns and drums subsides, grieving survivors raise stone and bronze monuments to remember their dead; they are Frozen Glory". This talk explores these monuments. Through stories of the generations and the survivors who raised them, their secret lives come to light.
At the Carriage House. Non-members $2.00; members free.
