Family Explorations
Bring the family and head outdoors to discover our local natural areas. Investigate a variety of different habitats throughout Southeastern CT and adjacent RI. Flip over logs to look for salamanders, scramble over boulders, seine for aquatic life in a stream, and much more. Join us for one or all of these child-paced explorations and hikes. Please call (860) 536-1216 to register.
July 6 10 am – 12:00 pm Today’s class is at Frosty Hollow Pond in Rhode Island.
July 13 10 am – 12:00 pm Today’s class is at the Hewitt Preserve.
July 20 10 am – 12:00 pm Today’s class is at Napatree in Watch Hill, RI. Please note that you will probably have to pay for parking.
July 27 10 am – 12:00 pm Today’s class is at Hartman Park.
