Description
FAMILY CRABBING
Meet at Nature Center and carpool to a secret crabbing location. After a brief intro to basic techniques of crabbing and crab ID, we’ll head out to put our new knowledge to work. We’ll provide nets, bait and lines but please bring a head lamp or flashlight to help spot crabs. Wear appropriate shoes. Please no flips flops or Crocs. We will be in the water and standing and walking on wet, slippery rocks. Bring your own equipment if you wish. Program will be led by Nature Center Educator Steve Sarnoski. Members are $5 and non-members are $8. Member family price is $20 and non-member family price is $32. Please call the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center at 860.536.1216 to register.
