 Friday & Saturday, Oct. 11 & 12, 11 am-3 pmDugout Canoe Join Jeff Kalin (Cherokee) as he demonstrates the traditional methods of using fire, stone axes, and scrapers to replicate a dugout canoe on the Farmstead. Try traditional hunting tools -- atlatl or bow and arrow -- with Museum educator James Jones (Mashantucket Pequot). Free with Museum admission, free to Museum members. |
