For the third season of our reading series, Shakespeare’s Summer Shorts, The Colonial Theatre is delighted to present Bob Durwood Madison's Merry Wives, out in the park!
Readings begin at 6 PM and run from Wednesday, August 12th-Saturday, August 15th. All readings are free and open to the public and open to all ages.
About Merry Wives:
Adapted from Shakespeare’s beloved comedy "The Merry Wives of Windsor", this lively, family-friendly abridgment by Bob Durwood Madison captures all the wit, mischief, and unforgettable characters of the original, making it perfect for both devoted Shakespeare fans and newcomers alike. Join Falstaff, Mistress Quickly, and the Ford and Page families for an hour of laughter, romance, and delightful comic chaos.
