DESCRIPTION:Join us in search of the elusive male American Woodcock at the private Manatuck Preserve. This normally quiet\, well-camouflaged\, worm-eating bird transforms into a master of dazzling aerial displays for the sake of impressing the females. DPNC holds the conservation easement on this privately owned preserve and the trails are only open during DPNC led events. Meets in the back parking lot at Pine Point School\, 89 Barnes Rd\, Stonington. This program is suited for adults and older\, interested children. Masks and pre registration are required. Hikes are limited to 10 people. You MUST preregister and wear a mask the entire time hiking.
