Discuss what foods were commonly dried or smoked for winter use\, and how those foods were prepared. Learn to identify common animal tracks and other signs often encountered in your back yard. Dr. Mancini leads a winter ethnobotany walk with aspiring foragers starting at 1 pm on the Farmstead. Learn about important foods for winter survival. Sample some food and beverages.
