DESCRIPTION:The Westerly-Pawcatuck Veterans Board of Control requests your presence or participation in the annual Westerly-Pawcatuck Veterans Day parade on Saturday\, November 11\, 2023 starting at 9:30 a.m. The parade will begin at the Pawcatuck Shopping Center and proceed down Route 234 to West Broad Street into Westerly via High Street then onto Railroad Avenue\, ending at the Westerly Armory. There will be a guest speaker and music to honor our veterans at the Westerly Armory at the conclusion of the parade.\n\n    The Westerly-Pawcatuck Veterans' Board will award four $100 cash prizes to the most original\, the most patriotic\, the most inspirational\, and the best-designed float\, vehicle\, unit\, or group participating in the event. You must pre-register to participate by emailing wpvetsboc@gmail.com The deadline to register is October 28. Anyone wishing to participate should contact the Veterans Board Secretary at wpvetsboc@gmail.com
