SUMMARY:Westerly Land Trust Thursday Hike at Big River/Carr Pond
DESCRIPTION:This hike was new to me and maybe to you as well.  It has it all. A large cave\, huge rocks\, a lovely pond to walk around\, some interesting foundations and cemeteries\, some elevation changes and great wooded trails. We will take our time on the challenging bits. About 4 1/2 miles. Directions: from Westerly take 95 north to exit 6A\, turn right on Hopkins Hill Rd. Parking lot on left approximately 1 1/4 down Hopkins Hill Rd. From 102 turn onto Hopkins Hill Rd/Sunderland Rd follow approximately 3 1/2 miles parking on right. For more information visit www.westerlylandtrust.org.
