SUMMARY:Westerly Land Trust Summer Paddles- Mystic River
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our free\, guided kayak/canoe paddles on Thursdays. We will pass various local conservation lands\, including some of our own Westerly Land Trust preserves. We'll stop for a swim on some of the trips! These paddles are between 1   to 3 hours long. Bring your own kayak/canoe\, paddle\, life jacket\, whistle\, water\, snacks\, etc. We will shuttle vehicles at 10 AM.  Please arrive early: our trips leave promptly. \n\n\n\nMeet at 9:45 AM for Stretching with Lindsey\, Athletic Trainer from First Physical Therapy\, before the paddle trip!\n\n \n\nThis is a wonderful trip on the stunning Mystic River. We will pass by the Mystic Seaport Museum\, where we can get a good look at the tall ships and village beyond. We will launch @ 10:00 AM   no car shuttle. Put in is on River Road. Directions: From I-95 South: Take Exit 89\; take right onto Mystic Street\; take 1st right onto Cow Hill Road\; take 3rd left onto Blindloss Road\; take 1st left onto River Road\; Put-in is on the right after the I-95 underpass.
