All walks are at 10 AM unless stated to the contrary. We will visit various local conservation properties\, including some of our own Westerly Land Trust preserves. Walks are between 1 to 3 hours and are open to all ages with our target group being agile seniors. Please keep in mind that these are wooded trails with stumps\, roots and rocks so be sure to wear hiking boots or good walking shoes. If the weather is icy you should bring stabilizers or something for traction. Be aware that our hikes leave promptly so be on time! \n\n \n\nRiverwood Preserve\, Westerly \n\n \n\nThis walk will be guided through the WLT Riverwood Preserve depending upon the weather conditions will determine what we will do. Hopefully we can see some of these: interesting quarry remnants\, river views and descent through a beautiful gorge. Some climbing in rocky areas will be involved as the best views are from the higher elevations. Meet on Old Hopkinton Road at the end of Boy Scout Drive.
