We are grateful to the Westerly Land Trust as our Host .The Preserve encompasses approximately 50 acres of coastal and sand plain grass land\, fresh water ponds and wetlands and has a paved road system used for passive recreation. The race will begin at the Quail Run entrance to the Preserve (just off 1A)\, through the delightful neighborhood of Avondale before finishing at the Preserve.\n\n\n\nCommitment to Change is a collaboration among four social service agencies in the greater Westerly area Adult Day Center of Westerly\, WARM\, the Bradford Jonnycake Center of Westerly and Wood River Health Services. Recognizing the overwhelming need for efficient\, effective and collaborative support\, these four agencies have coordinated resources for the most needy on our communities. Cooperatively\, we continue to identify the most pressing needs in the greater Westerly area in the areas of affordable housing\, sustainable food resources\, support for seniors and their caregivers\, emergency shelter\, and access to quality health services. We are committed to providing basic human needs to the growing number of at risk individuals and families in our community.\n\nPrizes will be awarded to the top finishers\, male and female\, in each division and all registered participants will receive a Commitment to Change event t-shirt.
