This will be an interactive presentation to help teens understand about finances.\n\n \n\nAccording to Margaret Victoria\, library director\, "The Stonington Free Library is offering this workshop during Money Smart Week @ your Library as part of our mission to bring lifelong learning opportunities to our community.  As teens become adults\, having basic knowledge about their finances is\, I think\, a key component to success.  This seminar from the Dime Academy is a great opportunity for teens to prepare for financial independence."\n\n \n\nAttendees will learn basic financial skills that they can take with them into adulthood. The workshop will touch on fundamentals such as\; opening checking and savings accounts\, investing in your future\, understanding credit and getting a loan. Attendees will enjoy playing Dime Bank's own game called the "Game of Life". \n\n \n\nThe seminar is free but reservations are required as seating is limited.
