Electric Eve is a pulsating\, kaleidoscope of light and sound at Misquamicut State Beach in Westerly\, Rhode Island on Friday\, June 27\, 2014. This brand new\, "this is amazing!"\, gotta love the energy and good-vibes-event will incorporate adrenaline pumping music and colorful special effects onto a fun filled 5K megawatt course. It's fun\, it's funky and it's for the whole family! The dazzling light designs will be created by industry experts\, local artists and fun loving business owners. Electric Eve will be a neon glow run of epic proportions!\n\n\n\nSpectators will look on as the throng of illuminated runners make their way through a 5-kilometer luminous passage. Buildings along the course will be decked out with a full spectrum of neon lights. Several themed areas of the course will be designed to engage participants in the fun\, such as a sea-life section with giant starfish\, sea horses and jellyfish. Atlantic Avenue in Westerly will be transformed into "Electric Avenue" for one amazing technicolor night that you won't want to miss!\n\n\n\nDress to Impress\n\nThis is your license to "glow wild" for a night and there will be glow swag a plenty! Be dazzled\, be silly\, and twinkle like the star that you are! All the cool kids are wearing costumes\, neon tu-tus\, wigs and blinking sunglasses. Create your own impressive outfit at home or purchase these novelties at the event. A costume contest will take place with cool prizes for winners. Face painters will be on hand to paint with reflective paints so you light up as you pass under the black lights.\n\n\n\nA Party to Rave About\n\nThe event finale is a high voltage after-party\, where a DJ spins techno tunes and lasers illuminate the night sky.
