SUMMARY:Dig into Nature - Terrific Tracking (ages 5-10)
DESCRIPTION:Tracking is like learning a language. If you know how to read it\, you gain insight into behaviours and survival techniques. We'll decode these clues and learn how to tell rabbit and squirrel tracks apart and examine the patterns animals leave behind. Thanks to a generous donation from the Bodenwein Foundation\, the Dig Into Nature programs are offered free of charge to New London County residents ages 5 to 10 years old. Our goal is to get children outdoors. Each program topic includes time exploring in nature and relies on the spirit of adventure to guide discovery. Please make certain children are dressed for the weather.
