DESCRIPTION:CHANGE OF LOCATION   The Westerly Hospital and \n\nWesterly Hospital Area Residents Committee\n\nCo-Host Community Forum  \n\n \n\nIn order to accommodate a potentially larger number of attendees\, the location of the community forum scheduled for Thursday this week has been changed to the Westerly Middle School.  Together with the Westerly Hospital Area Residents Committee\, The Westerly Hospital is co-host this gathering for members of the greater community to hear an update on the Mastership process and other topics of interest\, and to ask questions.  The event\, previously to be held at the Hospital\, will now take place Thursday\, January 24\, 2013\, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Westerly Middle School at 10 Sandy Hill Road\, in Westerly. \n\n \n\nThe event\, a "Community Forum" will feature Mark Russo\, Esq.\, Special Master\, who will discuss the progress toward completion of the acquisition by L&M Hospital\; Steven Hartford\, Westerly Town Manager\, who will share the perspective of the Westerly Area Resident's Committee\, and Christopher Lehrach\, MD\, Chief Transformation Officer/Interim Operations at The Westerly Hospital\, who will describe some of the latest initiatives under consideration to help strengthen the Hospital.  "We remain committed to providing the latest and most accurate information as we move steadily toward completion of this process and to assuring the strongest future for the Hospital\," said Special Master Mark Russo.\n\n \n\nAll interested are welcome.  No reservations are necessary.\n\n \n\nThe Westerly Hospital is a 125-bed hospital that provides Washington (RI) and New London (CT) County residents a wide array of medical\, surgical\, laboratory and rehabilitative services using state-of-the-art technology in an intimate\, community hospital setting.
