SUMMARY:Calling All Tenor & Bass Singers: Audition Now for the Chorus of Westerly
DESCRIPTION:The Chorus of Westerly is now auditioning for new adult singers\, particularly tenors and basses to join them beginning in their Spring semester of 2016. The remainder of the Chorus of Westerly's 2015-16 season will include performances of Verdi's Requiem under the baton of renowned conductor David Hill\, of the London Bach Choir\, BBC Singers\, and Yale School of Music. Verdi rehearsals begin on Monday\, February 1st and performances will take place in Westerly and at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Providence in May of 2016. The season ends in June with the annual Summer Pops concert in Wilcox Park\, Westerly RI. Rehearsals are held in the George Kent Performance Hall\, 119 High Street\, Westerly RI on Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:45.
