DESCRIPTION:Have you ever seen a Harlequin Duck?  Their marking are stunning and Sachuest Point Refuge\, near Newport\, is one of the few places to find them.  Capt. Mark will lead this van outing to the renowned US Fish & Wildlife refuge and carry along our high-end spotting scope.  Participants should have an up-close view of the ducks\, as well as a bevy of other waterfowl and seals.  Sachuest Point Refuge is also known for a variety of raptors and owls and we have timed the outing so as to be there when both day and night birds might be viewed. Participants are encouraged to bring cameras and binoculars\; we will have the spotting scope and several binoculars for group use.
