See the various types of vehicles that helped transport commerce from the land to the sea at the turn of the century.\n\n\n\nWatch as the village and waterfront bustle with activity as early 20th-century vehicles go about the daily business of the 1920s. Talk to the exhibitors who lovingly maintain these beauties. Enjoy a ride in an antique vehicle and experience the 20th century's newest mode of transportation.\n\n\n\nCap off the day with the Grand Parade of Vehicles. Watch as the antique vehicles circle the Museum grounds in the annual event finale. It's a sight to behold!\n\n\n\nMystic Seaport will host its 15th annual Antique Vehicle Show Sunday\, September 23\, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.\n\nMore than 100 authentic pre-1930's cars\, trucks\, and motorcycles will be on display throughout the Museum's village. The event gives visitors the opportunity to see up close and in some cases sit behind the wheel of classic vehicles and speak with the owners who care for and restore them. From 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.\, free rides will be available to visitors\, allowing them to experience what it was like to travel in the early days of motor vehicles.\n\nAt 3 p.m.\, the event's finale\, a grand parade of vehicles\, will make its way through the Museum grounds.\n\nMuseum admission is required for the show.
