DESCRIPTION:Every day is a great day for a hike\, especially on the beautiful trails at Wahaneeta Preserve.  This walk is a moderate level on lovely trails that traverse streams\, forest and a scenic pond with lots of bird nesting boxes to spot as we go.  \n\nHike leader Donna Anderson 203-470-4566\n\nFor all hikes be sure to wear shoes appropriate for natural conditions that may include rocks\, roots and mud along the paths.  In warmer months\, come prepared with insect repellent for your comfort.

LOCATION:Wahaneeta Preserve\, Off of Moorehouse Rd\, Westerly\, RI. *Drive past Trombino Field and continue on the dirt road until you see the Westerly Land Trust sign on the left side of the road. Turn left there and continue until you reach the parking area on the right.
